Job description

• Safely and efficiently transport packages to various destinations within assigned routes.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
• Communicate with dispatchers to receive and update delivery instructions.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns during delivery.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Accurately document deliveries and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role (preferred but not required).
• Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs].
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and local routes.
